As of my review date in September 2023, the PopSockets PopWallet+ for MagSafe can be found on the official PopSockets website and at Target, both in-store and online. It’s worth noting that the available color and design options are limited compared to the non-MagSafe version. The PopWallet+ for MagSafe comes with a price tag of $40, which is $15 higher than the standard variant.
Strong, Secure, and Convenient
The PopWallet+ for MagSafe shares similarities with the PopGrip for MagSafe, sporting a rectangular shape with a built-in slot capable of holding up to three cards. However, the thickness of your chosen cards will determine how comfortably they fit. With dimensions measuring 57.35mm by 87.77mm, it’s slightly thicker than the PopGrip for MagSafe (7.32mm).
The standout feature of the PopSockets PopWallet+ for MagSafe is its exceptional magnetic hold. Cards remain securely in place, with an elastic sock tucked between the magnetic and plastic components. A half-circle opening at the bottom allows for easy card retrieval while ensuring their safety during regular use. Extending the grip part is effortless, and it consistently centers itself on your iPhone 12, facilitating one-handed use. Additionally, it doubles as a reliable phone stand when placed in landscape orientation.
The magnetic attachment on the PopWallet+ is impressively strong, effectively addressing concerns about the Apple MagSafe Wallet slipping off when placing your iPhone 12 Pro in your pocket. Furthermore, like the PopGrip for MagSafe, the PopWallet+ for MagSafe supports swappable PopTops and PopMounts.

While PopSockets is known for offering a wide range of colors and designs, the MagSafe lineup currently provides limited choices. As of my review date, the PopWallet+ for MagSafe is available in three solid colors (Black, Blush Pink, and Periwinkle) and two patterns (Rose Gold Lux and Floral Bohemian). The PopGrip for MagSafe offers even fewer options, featuring only one solid color (Black) and three patterns (Opal, Blue Nebula, and Gold Lutz Marble).
The lack of variety in the current MagSafe collection may disappoint those who appreciate a diverse selection. However, it’s hoped that PopSockets will expand their color and design offerings for the PopWallet+ and PopGrip for MagSafe in the future.

While the standard PopWallet+ is priced at $25, the PopWallet+ for MagSafe commands a $15 premium, retailing at $40. The higher cost is justified by the enhanced magnetic attachment and improved compatibility with MagSafe-compatible iPhone cases.
